The staff were extremely welcoming when I checked in, providing me all the information I needed to know about the hotel and its facilities. The bar and lobby area were exceedingly comfortable and the restaurant and bar staff were very knowledgeable about the menu which enhanced the experience. Great drinks too! I was really delighted with how attentive the staff were, even just stopping by the room to see if I needed anything. This hotel really understands the small additions that make a stay truly memorable. My room had everything I needed and more, it combined comfort with luxury. I will also very much miss the sea view, it was amazing. It should come as no surprise that should I ever return to São Miguel I shall be wanting to stay at his hotel again.

Grand Hotel Azores was an excellent hotel. The service was outstanding from start to finish. We had a waterfront room with a balcony and enjoyed sitting and watching the comings and goings in the town. The breakfast was fantastic, again with a waterfront view. When we were looking for hotels, we were a bit apprehensive that this hotel might be a bit stuffy, but it was perfect! First class experience with a casual attitude! The proximity to town was perfect~ very convenient! We didn't use the pool or water access across the street, but it looked fantastic. We stayed at a very nearby property at the tail end of our trip, and preferred this hotel by far. The only advantage the other hotel had was a rooftop bar and pool. We didn't use the pool, but there were lots of families whose children enjoyed it.

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico exceeded all expectations. The location is very central, with everything in Ponta Delgada just a short walk away. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the outstanding staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, providing a great start to each day. We also appreciated the hotel’s genuine commitment to sustainability, which was clear throughout our stay.

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Acores Atlantico was above and beyond our expectations! Grand Atlantico is a luxury hotel with top notch services. The staff was welcoming, friendly, polite and extremely helpful throughout our stay simply AMAZING. From the moment we arrived we felt special! They arranged all of our excursions in San Miguel, car rental, arranged our taxi to airport, and answered all our questions with helpful suggestions about Island. The Ocean View Suite overlooking the harbor was breath taking. The buffet breakfast was delicious which offered a variety of delights. The Hotel ambiance was perfect. Sometimes after a long day of excursions we would go back to the hotel lobby to relax and listen to the musical guest with a drink. The location is perfect. Walking distance to all the quaint shops and restaurants. We highly recommend the Grand Atlantico. We were impressed with their enthusiasm, professionalism, and customer service. We are already planning a trip to go back!

It was such a pleasant experience. The welcoming was very warm, the room was specious and so tastefully decorated with an amazing view. Meals at restaurant were quite unique, local and delicious, and desserts were such a delight to look at and enjoy. A very big thank for a lovely birthday surprise. Everything was exceptional - next to the beauty of the whole island it was that thing that makes everything dreamlike. The staff deserves a big praise!

The hotel was within walking distance of most places in the center of town. Great location! Service was excellent at breakfast and late night in the bar. Rooms were comfortable and cool with all of the necessary amenities with comfortable bedding. It was on a side street and quiet in the night. Staff also contacted me after departure with an item left behind.

Very nice place, the hotel is well maintained, the staff is very helpful, room service and restaurant are good. The location is perfect, there are several quality options to have lunch or dinner and enjoy the local fresh sea-food dishes. In general, nice climate and charming Island. We enjoyed our New Year stay of one week.
